In fact, I wanted to love this movie. The idea and the actors give it the potential to be a funny romantic comedy, but unfortunately it is not.
I love Matthew McConaughey in almost everything he has ever been in. It was a good actor, but I could not really buy it as a charmer in this film. I do not really see why women were falling for him. It was not even a charming or sympathetic. It was just a reflex. I felt like the authors of this film, all women had only fools ready to fall into bed with anyone.
Jennifer Garner is one of my favorites in other films. It was not bad in it, but it was not enough to save the movie.
One was that I like in this film was Lacey Chabert. She was very believable as the wife to be nervous. She was panicked in the slightest details of the wives of many others and was a wreck. She gave us some funny moments and was cute as a button.
I am glad that I only rented this movie from Netflix, I’m only one hour and 40 minutes of my life instead of $ 20. If you really feel the need to see this film, rent it before buying it.

Just saw in the theater and it was a great film with many laughs. I enjoyed thoroughly!

We start with the bachelor’s land coveted womanizer, schmooze in demand, professional photographer Conner (McConahey). He loves all women, everyone can talk to himself to do. Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey) is living the dream of everyone. He made a career of photographing poorly clad women. But this is nothing compared to the number of women he left behind. No woman seems to be able to resist his charm, but if he stayed with them, he moves on. Heck, he can break with three women at once entertained at a conference, while still sleeping in the room with him.
All changes to the weekend by his brother Paul (Breckin Meyer) marriage. Connor is the best man when he returns to his uncle Wayne real estate, where he will meet his first great love, Jenny (Jennifer Garner) combined. But as he continues his movement around him at all, it starts ghosts. First, it is Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas), who warned of three more will follow. Connor wants to learn something from these visits?
Clearly, this is the romantic comedy version of A Christmas Carol, a personal favorite of mine. Between this, Jennifer Garner, and forecasts fun, I thought, this could actually be fun. And it had some funny moments. I laughed a few times. And I liked how the story was the interaction with real people at the wedding of ghostly visits with Connor advanced.
The show, on the other side would have been better. Even Jennifer Garner was not his normal standards. The only one I really liked was Michael Douglas. The ghostly special effects, on the other side were great.
My problem with this film is on the shoulders of the writer. It was written by two guys. Instead of a romantic comedy where Connor learns an important lesson, is really a fantastic film Guy. Heck, we have a long flashback have been Uncle Wayne is a young teacher Connor how to score with women. There is no point, the story or characters. It is only because the authors thought it was funny.
Then there is the bride. Yes, they played the wife laughs strained, but it was so despised by the people, I was actually agree, Connor that his brother should not marry the woman.
All this is shown in the pic. Yes, we get the expected moral (the end is not really a surprise), but it happened so fast, I do not think Connor has really learned something.
My love of a Christmas song makes me more about this film then I would. Do not be fooled by the previews, this is not a romantic comedy. This is nothing but a male fantasy, masquerading as something else. It is not worth your time or money.

Well, this is not the greatest movie of all time, but it’s worth seeing just to see Matthew McConaughey! Based on lessons learned from his uncle, he is a player “who can not cope with a woman for a long time. The ghosts of three of his previous relationships and it will appear directly. It has some funny parts in the whole was very good. Although I can not say I like it, I’ll reconsider.
